As we celebrate our 30th anniversary this month, we are proud to recognize our long-time associates for achieving this major milestone with us. Their loyalty, leadership, and expertise have been integral to our journey. This picture commemorates over 56 years of combined tenure! From left to right: Dominique Daschle, our Chief People Officer, started with Carr Properties in 2004 and has been instrumental in building Carr's hospitality-driven culture. Ellen K. Wyviorka, CPM, RPA, General Manager, joined Carr Properties in 2014 and currently oversees six of our placemaking DMV properties, including Midtown Center. Yolanda Richardson, RPA, General Manager, has been an integral part of Carr Properties since 2009 and currently oversees seven of our DMV properties, including The Wilson. Linda Cogburn, Senior Vice President of Operations, started with Carr Properties in 2013 and oversees Property Management of our owned and third-party portfolio, raising our standard of excellence along the way.

We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of 901 N. Pitt Street, a prime site in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where we will develop a 234-unit multifamily rental property. The property will include below-grade parking, 15,800 square feet of outdoor space, a performing arts venue, and nearly 7,000 square feet of additional ground-floor retail space. In honor of our 30th anniversary this month, we are taking a moment to reflect on the invaluable contributions of our associates. Without their unwavering commitment over the years, we would not be where we are today. To express our gratitude, we hosted an Associate Appreciation Breakfast this morning to take a moment out of our normal morning routine and celebrate together.

There is no better place to celebrate #NationalLibraryWeek than One Congress! We integrated a library-inspired lounge into the Conference & Event Facility to create a cozy place to unwind after a meeting or to gather with an intimate group. We value creating unique spaces for our customers to flourish!

Our CEO Oliver Carr recently spoke with Axios about how we are utilizing our thoughtfully designed amenity spaces as upscale event venues with Carr+ Events. Serving anywhere from 10 to 700 people, Carr+ Events invites individuals to reserve our spaces for their private dinners, corporate off-sites, cocktail receptions, and weddings.
