With over $20K raised in just two years for groundbreaking cancer research, Team Huron is committed to a cancer free future through BellRinger. During #NationalCancerPreventionMonth, the Ralph Lauren Center at Georgetown Lombardi is front and center in combating cancer disparities and promoting health equity.  The center's mission advocates for equitable access to preventative care, education, and support services within their catchment area of Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Director of Cancer Screening, Dr. Chiranjeev Dash, and Founding Director, Dr. Lucile Adams-Campbell are third-year Riders and dedicated members of the BellRinger community. Their participation only continues to advance our mission of a cancer free future. The celebration continued at Captial One Arena today as the BellRinger community presented a check to the Director of Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Louis M. Weiner, for $1,413,159 raised through BellRinger 2023! 👏🏼💚 Thank you to all of our researchers, physicians, survivors, and Riders who represented our community on the court! 💙 Special shoutout to Dana Nearing for representing our largest community team, Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC, with the singing of the national anthem! 🎤 #GearUpEndCancer
