We are excited to announce that mobile apps for 5425 Wisconsin Ave, 2 Wisconsin Circle, and 2 Bethesda Metro have been launched on the App Store and Google Play. These mobile apps, powered by CBRE's Host platform, will elevate the workplace experience for tenants by delivering real-time activations such as booking a conference room, submitting a service request, finding community events and more. The Chevy Chase Land Company's Ascend program is also implemented in these apps, allowing users to utilize the shared amenity program for properties within our office portfolio. Over the past 10 days, The Collection at Chevy Chase hosted its first-ever Restaurant Week where patrons had the opportunity to explore participating restaurants and win unbeatable prizes. 134 years investing locally. We are lucky to have documentation of The Chevy Chase Land Company's rich history, including these Then and Now images of The Collection at Chevy Chase. The first image shows the original Chevy Chase Center, built in 1952 by The Chevy Chase Land Company. Situated next to a Howard Johnson’s restaurant and across the street from the first suburban Woodward & Lothrop which opened in 1950, the Chevy Chase Center on Wisconsin Avenue featured a Peoples Drug Store, a Giant Foods, Raleigh’s Haberdashery, Tweed’s ‘N Things, and other specialty stores. The second image shows a modern view of The Collection, built in 2005 and remodeled in 2019. Today, The Collection is anchored by an Amazon Fresh grocer, and is home to a variety of offices, restaurants, and retail.
