  Adventure Theatre MTC

Adventure Theatre MTC is the longest-running professional children's theatre and training center. ATMTC serves 60,000 annually with performances, tours, classes, camps and workshops.
A Wider Circle

A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to help children and adults lift themselves out of poverty. A Wider Circle pursues its mission by providing urgent, basic need items to families transitioning out of shelters or simply living without life's necessities. We also go into low-income schools, shelters, and community centers to lead free, educational workshops on topics ranging from job skills and financial planning to nutrition.
 Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County

Arts for the Aging

AFTA engages older adults in health improvement & life enhancement through the arts. We focus on those who are vulnerable and frail with programs at dozens of adult day care centers, nursing homes, assisted living & community centers in the DC metro area. Currently we provide 500 programs annually via a faculty of teaching artists.

Founded in 2005, ArtStream is based in Chevy Chase, Maryland and holds programming throughout the Greater Washington DC Metro region. ArtStream's Mission: Through collaborative performance and lifelong learning opportunities, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain the skills and confidence to engage with the world. ArtStream performances feature adult actors with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) — including autism — and other social and behavioral needs.
Bethesda Cares, Inc.

Bethesda Cares Inc. is a community outreach program for the homeless. Our programs respond the needs of the Bethesda area homeless. We also work to keep people in their homes through through our eviction prevention program.

Our volunteer board of directors provides day-to-day support for Fire & Rescue Service's operations. The Bethesda Fire Department's mission is to prevent loss of life and property through community education and service since 1926

The Children's Inn at NIH

The Children's Inn at the National Institutes of Health is a residential "place like home" for sick children and their families. Children come from across the country and around the world to stay together with their families in The Inn's healing environment while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world's leading biomedical research center. While the NIH takes care of the child's medical needs, The Inn tends to the child's heart, soul and spirit.

Figuring out which colleges are a good fit, how to apply to them, and how to pay for it all can be overwhelming. CollegeTracks helps students manage the challenges of the college experience so they persist, graduate and find a path that allows them to achieve independence, support families and give back to the community. CollegeTracks staff members work full-time in three Montgomery County high schools: Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Watkins Mill, and Wheaton, where they serve juniors and seniors.
Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund

The Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund has 501(c)(3) status. Contributions are tax deductible and aid soldiers wounded in service of our nation. We provide 100% of every donation directly to wounded soldiers recovering at military hospitals in the Washington, D.C. area. No overhead. No bureaucracy. Contributions from individuals and corporations provide immediate funds for the everyday needs of soldiers facing a long, hard recovery far from home.

St. Luke's House is a community-based psychiatric rehabilitation program serving Montgomery County since 1971, providing a wide array of mental health services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Metro DC Chapter

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. We fund more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support. Our focus is to support the development of new drugs to fight the disease, improve the quality of life for those with CF, and ultimately to find a cure.

The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, Inc. manages Glen Echo Park, one of the most lively visual and performing arts sites in the Washington area. Hope Connections for Cancer Support

Hope Connections for Cancer Support is a local, nonprofit organization that helps people with cancer and their loved ones deal with the emotional and physical impact of cancer through professionally facilitated programs of emotional support, education, wellness and hope. Our programs are available to anyone affected by cancer regardless of their cancer diagnosis, stage of disease, age, economic status, race, religion, sex or where they receive their medical care. We provide support to injured service members and their families, most of whom are at Walter Reed-Bethesda. We provide hotel rooms, apartments, rental cars and cab rides to the injured and their families during recovery from serious wounds suffered in the military. For the caregivers of the injured, we host nights out for dinner and a movie, visits to spas and salons, and take part in many local activities. We are proud to support the Bethesda-Chevy Chase businesses that partner with us on our programs to help our injured heroes and their families.


YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase

YMCA Youth & Family Services (YFS), the social services branch of the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, has been providing counseling and early intervention services to children and families in Montgomery County, MD for more than 40 years. With 18 program sites and 65 staff members, YFS provides assistance to nearly 4,000 adults and children every year. YFS offers the majority of its services free of charge.
