IPIC North Bethesda

I am the queen of poppin' out for a quick solo date and this was a perfect evening at iPic and a quick dinner before the movie at City Perch!

The restaurant is very cute. Great for a solo date (like I did) or date night with your boo! I sat at the bar which is really nice. Took a minute to be acknowledged, but when the gentleman finally did, he was like warm, at best!

I ordered a rum and coke. The mussels off the happy hour menu and an order of fries. My food came fairly quick and the mussels were delicious! The lukewarm warm bartender bought a bowl for my shells when I literally had 3 mussels left without even saying a word. Of course, I didn't use it--hell, I was done

My friend met me and she ordered a cocktail (spicy margarita) and again the bartender was rude as hell and so lackluster but when I asked for the check suddenly he had more that 3 words to say...too late buddy!

The actual theatre is nice. We didn't get premium seat (sold out) but the standard seats were nice. The popcorn was fresh and delicious. I also ordered a Sprite with Grenadine

Overall experience...good! I'll be back!

UPDATE: we came here to watch the Book of Clarence and I really was better off going to my local theater. Although, reasonably priced, I realize that it's not worth the drive..at all. The food was disappointing and came out EXTREMELY slow, no exaggeration. The movie is almost over before your food comes out to you. I ordered the nachos grande because it looked pretty decent the last time we came but it was very cold; I am sure it was sitting out because we had to ask the waiter about the status and poof our food came out. The service was okay, but the communication could've been better, about waiting for food for so long. I mentioned that the nachos were a disappointment and requested popcorn....I am still waiting.
The movie theater within itself is pretty cool and the bar next to it, was a very nice vibe. I doubt I will return to the theater , if so, food will not be involved.

I enjoyed the ambience, comfortable and clean seats, and delicious popcorn. The special drink was A+. The drink was not too strong, and was not watered down with ice. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. The theatre was epic.
I purchased the blanket as a keepsake. The location is central to diverse restaurants and shops. Check it out!

REVIEW--It was a lite-hearted comedy with lots of Female Power, motivational quotes and moments. There were people of various hues and colors, so I loved the movie's diversity. There was even a nodded to a SyFy Classic 2001: A Space Odyssey, which I love as a science fiction fanatic. Go see it if you love Barbie, all things pink and feminine positive energy.

The movie is coming out July 21, today!! I got to preview it a few nights ago at the IPIC in Pike and Rose, in North Bethesda. They offer first class seating and general seat. With first class seating, called Plus you get to order your food/alcohol from you seat and it's delivered straight to you for your viewing pleasure. Travel often, eat and live deliciously.

Hello Yelpers!!! It's Easter! When my cousin told me about IPIC first thing I said was what the heck is that. Then she mentioned it was a movie theatre and you could also order food. So I went in the website to take a look and I was so impressed.

We purchased our tickets online and wayyyy in advance. We got there and luckily there was no traffic. We purchased tickets for Super Mario.

Got into the theatre and I was amazed as to how nice it looked and also organized. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 cheese pizza which were tasty, 1 Adult Burger and 1 kids burger, Cheese Nachos, 1 Large popcorn and 1 small popcorn. Everything was just perfect.

We bought the seats that come with tables. I mean the experience was everything. We went with the kids and boy did they have a good time. I did not take any pictures. But I was scared of the flash coming on in the middle of the movies.

I went to ipic this morning to see the color purple with a friend. I am not sure if our button was broken to get a server over, but I called them over so we could get our orders in before the movie. We both ordered the chicken tenders with fries and a drink. Overall, everything tasted great as always. I prefer coming to IPIC over the other movie theaters in the area.

This was my first time coming here since I got tickets gifted to me to try it out. I'll lay out the pros and cons.

Pros:

Great service, comfy seats, comfy blankets and decent food. The quality of the screen is actually very good as well as the sound system.

Cons:

It is EXTREMELY cold in here. It was 80° outside and walking in here felt like 60°! I was definitely cold and shivering until I asked for the blanket that comes with the premium seats. then felt a bit warm. However coming out the theater to use the restroom, you're back in the cold again.

The prices was actually too pricey for the food and drinks. I was surprised with how much the bill came out for what I ordered.

Overall this place was nice but probably for once a year anniversary or special occasions.

I went here on New Year's Day 2024 to see Color Purple. I arrived 30 minutes prior to the movie which is definitely recommended. It was pretty empty when I arrived which allowed me to look around take pictures, order my food and drinks. It also allowed me time to go to the bathroom before the movie begin. They have standard seating and premium seating. The premium are the orange color chairs and standard are green chairs. The difference is premium you can order from your seat , the seating is for two and they provide a blanket. The standard you have to order from the restaurant and bring back to your seat. Both seating has a small table to eat on. The standard seats are single seats. I purchased the premium seats which I liked because I was able to order my food from my seat, and I utilized the blanket they provided which kept me warm in the theater. I ordered lemon pepper wings, bbq wings, fries and a pizza it was pretty good, I also ordered 2 margaritas and they were decent. I will return again.

I don't know about all the other reviewers but my burger was so good. Would definitely get again in hopes that the quality is the same!

I had the pleasure of accompanying, a friend, to the Billions HU Private Prescreening of Black Panther II "Wakanda Forever" and what a time was had.

We arrived at 8:15 to enjoy complimentary specialty premium cocktails open bar curated for the movie. I had the Killmonger which was a mixed drink featuring Dussé with a fresh rosemary garnish. I also tried the Wakanda which was a Patron Reposado margarita drink garnished with fresh Mint. Both were exquisitely mixed and tasted delicious.

We had a few appetizers and made our way to the theater where we were greeted with a Moët champagne toast in memory of, Chad Boseman.

Before the show started, we received popcorn, one dish from the menu, water and a candy selection. This event was perfect. I ordered the steak quesadilla and the impossible burger. Both were prepared perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

iPic is by far one of the best movie theaters around. They make you feel like you're at home and that's what keeps me coming back every time.

I definitely enjoyed myself and can't wait to see what else Billions HU has in store.
