Olympia's Hair Studio

Men I love Olimpia! Her hands are magical. She's worth every dime and trust/believe you'll get what you want. I have no complaints. Quality over price if you can afford it. My hair was super long and dry o we the quarantine and I knew I couldn't have anyone else style it. Every other stylist I've ever been too always cuts my curly hair wet which chops off most of it and the layers are never on point. I also never end up with the hair color I walk in wanted until Olimpia that is. Extremely happy customer all the time! My hair was two toned , she fixed the color and gave me the highlights I wanted with minimal bleach almost none at all in order to care for my curls. I drove all the way from Charles County just for her ;-)

Worth the trip great service and she does an awesome job. We haven't found anyone that can style hair quiet like her. Will make the drive from somd to Olympias to come out looking gorgeous.

This is a beautiful salon with high ceilings, modern dryers yet its cozy and intimate. The large mirrors and comfortable, while very well designed, hair basins and customer smocks all make the experience simply inviting. Olympia is sweet, stylish and stays abreast of all the latest hair trends. She cuts beautifully and knows how to make a woman feel beautiful when leaving her boutique... She's transformed me upon leaving​ her shop for over 20 years. This beautiful stylist graciously accommodates special appointments because I'm coming from New York. Great salon, stellar stylist!

Awesome hairdresser. I will be back, but at 70$ for just a cut I gotta save some money first.

Olympia is an artist! She is a colorist and a stylist, and is always up to date on the latest looks.
I have never been disappointed with her artistry.
The salon is lovely and welcoming.
She is versatile and can do all types of hair.
If you try her, you will never go back to your former salon.

Going to Olympia's is like going to a friend who knows how to make you look good. She clearly loves what she does and is very devoted to making everyone look their best. She was perfect for me because I WANT someone to give me advice when it comes to my hair! (Maybe some people don't like this?). The people who say she's expensive are crazy. $50 for a hair cut? I mean where have you guys been going before - Supercuts? For the time and attention she gives you this is an absolute BARGAIN! Go see her - you won't be disappointed!

Hello this review is coming from a professional stylist Razz's Hair Palace in Rockville Md.This Salon is a best kept secret in Wash Dc.Olympia has great customer service and her salon is clean and relaxing.Close by a barber shop so while your getting the ladies hair done the men can go next door.Her location is close to Rock Creek Park .Ask about her Coconut oil treatment's ?Make and appointment today.

2nd time at the salon was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this salon for naturals with high porosity 4C hair. The owner does not have the products to provide slip when detangling hair which felt like she was ripping my hair from the scalp. She roller set my hair again w/o using a leave in conditioner to provide slip. After I was dry, she removed the rollers and brushed my hair... Not sure why she did that! She proceeded to flat iron following a trim. I am suffering from hair loss at the crown however when I wear a wash/go, I'm able to cover the bald areas. The moment I washed my hair I noticed the Blotched hair cut! Omg I'm so disappointed because my hair was growing due to my personal care and now I don't have enough hair to cover the bald spot so sadly I'm going to wear a wig until I get some hair growth. Lastly the price... $110. Say what??? I questioned the price and then she said $85.00 ($50.00 for cut). Keep in my mind no price list was posted. Her credit card machine was not working and was told to use the ATM machine next door at the Barbershop. Omg I new I was done before I even noticed the horrible cut. I gave her $100 and she proceeded to walk away. Ummmmm I asked, " do you have change"? She gave me $20 back and charged me $80. My search continues trying to locate a salon that is experienced with natural high porosity hair.

I rarely find time to write the reviews I would like to write, both good and bad, but I am going to make the time to write one about Olympia and Maria. For me, bad hair days can contribute way too much to my overall mood. When my hair looks healthy and gorgeous, I feel much healthier...and definitely more confident. I have been to big salons, small salons, independent stylists and your random plaza type salon....just hoping that I would strike it rich and get someone who can consistently work magic with my hair. Well finally, at age 50, I have found that person. Like others, I hesitate to post such a wonderful review because I am selfish and always want to get into see Olympia. I know that I depend on Yelp reviews to direct me to good services, and so do a lot of other people. However, Olympia and her team are so awesome that it would not feel right to keep it to myself. Bottom line is that the minute you step into her boutique shop you feel like family and the moment you get out of her chair you feel like you need to go out with your husband and celebrate how good you look. She is wonderful, Marie is wonderful and I feel incredibility fortunate to have found them. Cheers...Anne

I rarely write reviews. Generally only if my experience was really bad or exceptionally good. Olympia's is definitely the exceptionally good situation. I constantly get compliments on my hair cuts and how good I look with my latest style. My teenage son, who is generally oblivious, recently remarked that a woman we had met at an event was "my age". He couldn't get over how much older than me she looked. He commented, she should really get an appointment with Olympia!
