This fall, the David Munson State Farm Agency and local non-profit, Bethesda Cares, teamed up to raise money for the homeless population in Montgomery County. Bethesda Cares is a Community Outreach Program in Bethesda, MD, whose mission is to prevent, ease and end homelessness in Montgomery County. Through the State Farm Quotes for Good program, the agency helped Bethesda Cares raise money and awareness for their cause. Not only was this initiative able to make an impact in the community, but it also led to further service opportunities for the agency, including a food drive and day of service where team members packaged meals for families that had been housed through the Bethesda Cares’ Housing Stabilization program. The Quotes for Good collaboration resulted in $250 raised by the David Munson State Farm Agency for their donation to Bethesda Cares and their community efforts. Not only has this collaboration benefited homeless individuals and families in need, but it has also created a wonderful relationship between the agency and non-profit, centered around serving the local community.
